Virtual Repotting Q&A
February 24 at 12:00 pm to 1:00 pmFree
Pacific Bonsai Museum members are invited to join us virtually in our ‘Chop Shop’ for a special members-only Virtual Curator’s Repotting Q&A. Aarin Packard will be repotting one of the bonsai in our collection on Wednesday, February 24 at 12 noon Pacific time.
This is an excellent opportunity to watch how repotting is done and ask your bonsai repotting questions at this live event. But even if you don’t have your own bonsai, all members who are curious to learn more about what goes into repotting and caring for bonsai are welcome to watch and listen in.
Which tree? That depends. Each tree has a narrow window of time when repotting can be performed. The weather and temperature play a huge part in determining when that window opens for a given tree (see ‘Watching the Weather’ above). We’ll have a better guess which tree it will be as we get closer to the event.
This session will be held on Zoom, and after you register, we will send you a link to the Zoom meeting.
If you’d like to participate but you are not sure if your membership is current, please feel free to email Sasha@pacificbonsaimuseum.org to confirm.
You can also become a new member to take advantage of this, and future, virtual and (hopefully, one day!) in-person events, discounts on classes and in our retail shop, and more.
