A Bonsai Solstice

December 21, 2019 at 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm

Free

A community favorite, A Bonsai Solstice, is our annual evening of peace and joy when we invite you to visit the collection at night, stroll through the exhibit, and take in the glow of bonsai illuminated by soft holiday lights.

Live acoustic music from acclaimed local guitarist Leon Christian will add to the magical atmosphere. Leon plays from 5 to 7pm.

Local poet Alexandria Maureen Beget-Manalo will write complimentary, custom poems for visitors to keep or give as gifts. 4 to 7pm.

Hot cocoa and coffee will be served compliments of Caffe D’arte Coffee Roasters.

Chicago West food truck will be here serving Chicago-style hot dogs, with GF and veg options available.

BYOF (Bring-Your-Own-Flashlight) to explore and discover the beauty of the bonsai by night.

Open to the whole community; kid- and family-friendly.

Free for all; donations welcomed. 4 to 7pm, December 21.

Note: this is a _Saturday_ evening event this year!

Thanks to our hospitality sponsor: Caffe D’Arte.
