Transition FAQ’s

In August 2014, the Weyerhaeuser Company announced their intent to sell their corporate headquarters. On February 9, 2016, we received word that the campus had been sold to Industrial Realty Group, LLC (IRG).

This breathtaking campus has been home to Pacific Bonsai Museum for more than 26 years. It is our intent to remain here, connecting people to nature though the living art of bonsai for many, many years to come.

Please join us in welcoming our new landlord. IRG brings creativity, connections and resources. The Museum will work to establish not only a good working relationship, but, we hope, a partnership that will support, strengthen and advance the Museum. More information on IRG can be found on their website.

During this transition, we will be exploring opportunities as well as stewarding our renowned collection with great care.

If you have further questions please feel free to reach out to us.

We thank you for your continued support and look forward to what the future will bring.

The Museum is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10am to 4pm; free admission, donations encouraged.
